Red-Flagging Bad Thought Habits

One of the sure signs for me that I’m not in a good head space is when I get involved in debates on Facebook that will never be resolved on Facebook (i.e. all debates).

It’s one of those hitting-your-head-repeatedly-against-a-brick-wall things that I’ve had to learn serve no point other than to aggravate me, heighten the illusion that my sense of self can be boosted by peacocking my intelligence, and generally distracting me from what’s frustrating me about my self and the limbo that I am in.

Thankfully I’ve red-flagged this behaviour and use it as an opportunity to ask myself what I’m *really* frustrated, angry or sad about. #ThankFuckForLearningCurves #ThisIsAboutMeNotYou
