On vulnerability as strength

Funny how even if lessons are inked onto our skin we forget them…

Vulnerability is a strength, only if you learn to incorporate it into your sense of self and your relating to others.

Fragility is the tendency to break and shatter.

Vulnerability is being able to grow larger and stronger after being broken, becoming more than the sum of the broken parts.

Vulnerability is an admission of this strength; a confession that although I’ve been broken I’m willing to take down a few walls to let something in because it’s worth it.

Thank you for the reminder, broTher @becoming_heath

HUGE RECOMMENDATION: Read  Brené Brown’s work on vulnerability (Daring Greatly), and watch her TedTalk).
