Transition from lesbian to transgender: The effect on my relationship

Today she said the dreaded words: “I left because I missed women”. It’s really difficult to hear and to acknowledge, but I’m glad I now have the clarity to see what was, what I’m mourning, and how to move on. The video. Relationships are complex. So is breaking up. She did not leave because I’m transgender, but for a number of reasons, which I discuss here.

  1. Sounds like she broke up with you cause you’re not a woman and she’s a lesbian.
Regardless, I feel you. Breakups are so damn hard. I tend to lose so much of my self-worth in breakups. I’m glad you have good people who care, who will check in, and who have got your back. Also glad you’ve got counseling and meds already set up. It sucks, man. But you, you are so worthy of all the things you need and want. You are so enough.
Big goddamn tranny bear hugs from the west coast US.
